quick one - at Paolow towers I have a garage that sadly does not have power/light. Not a huge problem but the battery in my car is completely flat. I will therefore need to a) get the battery indoors and b) buy a battery charger that is fit for purpose.
Does anyone have a personal reccomendation for a battery charger that will charge the battery and is there a value in a battery charger that will also 'condition' a battery that has been flat for ages? Is it worth trying to get the old one up and running or just bin it and get new? It was new 4 years ago and has been used a couple of times and sat in a state of total discharge for about 2 years.
I have looked online and there seems to be quite a difference in reviews in such matters. It is a battery for a 1.6 Capri if that matters and if it is no good is there a good place to buy a replacement?
TIA!

I would just buy a new battery.

Chargers like Optimate, Accumate and CTEK are pretty good in my experience

At a guess I would say that the battery is no good any more, if it's stood for 2 years in a discharged state.

If you do decide to try and charge it indoors, please ensure you have adequate ventilation around it!

My motorbike kept dying in the garage. Then the battery didn't last more than 2 days.

Got a CTEK and it's been great.
