V5 & selling car to foreign dealer

I'm potentially selling my car to a French dealer. I'm struggling to work out what parts of the V5 we'd need to complete if the deal goes through - is it the dealer section and the permanent export section?

It's quite simple really.

Fill it in as per selling to a UK dealer. The export section is if YOU are exporting the car, which you are not. Any export stuff is the problem of the person who buys it.

So do the selling to a trader section, tear it out and give the rest of V5 to dealer. Post off the bit you now have and don't forget to follow up if you don't get the DVLA acknowledgment letter.
