Hi all,

Like the title says I am after some advice. I am going to view a premier ep3 soon and it has one blemish and I'm hoping you can put my mind at ease! The lever on the driver side recaro seat to move the seat to allow people into the back (the lever on the side towards the back) has snapped, to what extent I don't know. To replace it is it a case of a couple of screws and a 5 minute job or a case of having to have a dealer dismantle the seat and change the lever?

Hope I have been clear in my explanation.

Many thanks for any replies

The lever broke because is made out of plastic , you can use some tape to keep it in place while you make your own metal type if you wish , or reinforce it with something

I never used to let people in the drivers side anyway, as the seat doesn't slide forward like the passenger one does. !

My sister had one of these. If you pop the seat forward to let someone in the back, the seat doesn't remember where you had it set. It'll go back to it's default upright position. Complete pain in the arse.

It's hardly ideal, but then the CTR is not a passenger wagon anyway!

What's the point in buying a practical 4 seat hatch if it's not for carrying passengers?

As an aside, the Recaros are a lovely place to sit, but not a significant improvement over the standard seats, which are excellent anyway.
