Stupendous roof rack loads

Saw this TT just outside Padstow a few weeks ago. Hardly the most obvious canoe shifter.

must try and find a copy of the picture of Uffa Fox's Humber with a flying fifteen on the roof and the FFs keel hanging out of the boot ...

for those not in the know the fifteen in the FFs name is feet but it's the LWL not the overall length of the hull which is just aobut 20 ft ...

I got a whole shed on the roof of my defender once. Tied it down really well with truckers knots so it was all safe, plus I didn't go over 30mph.
