As far as Porsche is concerned, I think maybe he has good connection to Porsche, so like any smart Porsche dealer he buys rare cars (like 911R), drives them for a bit, then sells them for a premium.
His 911R was written off in an accident, but don't let that get in the way of a good moan. Krikkit said:

He is now working for the BBC on a prime TV show. The wage for that probably isn't a small amount
Oh right, what shows that then? DonkeyApple said:

Until you compare it to MLB’s. DonkeyApple said:

MLB isn’t on the list as he’s paid by BBC Worldwide so doesn’t have to be disclosed. He supposedly pockets £1M a season for TG.

Not that it matters, but it would appear his BBC income is less than £150k pa, assuming this well publicised list is still roughly accurate. Of course he has other income streams, the details of which are not in the public domain.

Top Gear presenters fall under BBC Worldwide and BBC Studios, and they'd be on more than 150k per annum for sure.https://www.radiotimes.com/news/tv/2018-07-11/bbc-...

Back in 2003-2006, Hammond and May were getting 15k per episode of Top Gear... and it's a much bigger show now.
Fair play to them all and I look forward to seeing what Chris buys with his own money going forwards. His car ownership is fascinating in its own right

Also I’m finding he is evolving his presenting style - for the better good on you Monkey
