The owner requested the staff of the car valeting/wash to jet wash the interior, but they refused. The owner then drove the car to the self service jet wash and decided to jet wash the inside, himself....

Its an Italian registered car but they sound Eastern European, my guess is that the car is stolen. Still doesn't explain why they need to ruin it though...

Cars are hard to get fingerprints from, because most of the commonly touched items that you could get a goo fingerprint from (gearknob, steering wheel etc) are touched so much that the prints are overlaid, smudged or unusuable, or in the case of seatbelts, do not hold prints. The best evidence gained from cars is usually hair and clothes fibres on the seats. Blast a car with a jet wash and any potential evidence will be gone, or at the least very hard to obtain, to the point where I doubt anyone would waste their time trying to recover anything unless the car was linked to a very serious crime.

Still, could just be a spastic car washer, for all we know.

Friend at work recently showed me a video of a friend of his cleaning the inside of his VW transporter this way! Apparently it came up lovely and clean and everything works as it should!

Just a guess here, but I'd wager the inside of your van is lined with cheap plastic, not leather and woollen carpets.

Surely that is now ruined?

I accidently did this

And despite vaxing it out several times and putting a heater in it every day it never fully dried out. Can't imagine why you would do it on purpose confused

Yup, I do it often! Try to avoid getting the seats and anything electrical wet though. But the floor and door cards come up great!
