Surely that is now ruined?

I accidently did this

And despite vaxing it out several times and putting a heater in it every day it never fully dried out. Can't imagine why you would do it on purpose confused
No amount of Vaxing is going to remove those Lexus lights.

Maybe he's a drug dealer and the only way to wash out the car would be to jet it? Just a thought.

I have seen it done to a transit dashboard and interior. Not the same of course, but the perpertrator was equally neanderthal.

When I worked at a branch of the car shop, that's pretty close to how they valeted the interiors. Now sure how they dried the cars out though.
This guys gets a bit carried away with the dash. When has water ever been good for leather!

I expect something very dodgy has gone on in there and the car will be off to crusher or to be torched.

Why else would you do that?

That's how we used to wash my Mum's Citroen Diane.

(which IIRC was the posh 2CV hehe )
Jeeze, those things will rust for a pastime in a hermetically sealed bag, god knows what getting it wet inside would do, the metal has the rigidity of wet card after a winter on a salted road. Joking aside I sat down heavily in my wife's 2CV and the seat virtually went through the floor.

Used to do this to my Pajero after it had been used on camping trips and all, never done it any harm to be honest.

Actually great for getting beer out of things it shouldnt be in.

Good treatment on the leather after and dry her out on a sunny day with windows and doors open and itll be good as new.

I do remember me and a mate pulling up at a jetwash at Tescos on the motorbike and seeing as it didnt have a stand he sat on it with the feet down while I powerhosed him and it to get mud and bugs off the bike.

Worked well.

Seen that done before to a customers car....

Mechanic was checking oil pressure with a real gauge inside the car...

Gauge head blew off - cue hot, black oil at 50psi spraying all over the interior.

Valeter tried everything and the steam cleaner was a last resort - it worked too.

Customer probably wondered why his car was so clean (and presumably why it steamed up inside for months afterwards)

Didn't the original Range Rover have vinyl floor covering and seats so that after they'd been used on the farm, you could just hose them down?

As for that Merc, I'm guessing it's either now fked, or having a fair few electrical gremlins - I'd also guess that if MB in which ever country it's from have seen the video, they'll have canned the warranty

Hmmmm, having watched Pulp Fiction at the weekend I'm wondering if the owner had a similar accident.

Who's knows what that car has been carrying...pity that a jet washer will not remove it completely.

I wash my Landy down like that occasionally. I just try & keep the spray from hitting the electrical items.
