Wind window down then 'bend' the frame back, slowly, with a large length of wood.
I've don't it many time to fix gaps/wind noise.

Going through insurance would be a write off

There is a strong case for not locking cars in scummy areas with nothing in them

It is asking for trouble but it's a damn shame that this is the case

Had this happen to me when I had my 206 frown it's not nice to come back to your car to find it like that.
Mine got bent back into place and was never any bother. I could see a slight crease where the frame met the door after though. Plus mine wasn't as bent as in your picture.
Hope it gets sorted out and the scum get what's coming to them.

Well, I've got the door back into shape.

Two things strike me as interesting:

1> The Police were more unhelpful than you can imagine, with two promised phone calls and two promised visits from a "forensic team" - neither of which materialised, whilst the car sat, unlockable, in it's st state, on a public road for three days. Good work.

2> Apparently the simplicity of bending the pillars to gain access on 206s was mentioned on Top Gear recently. The first Police Officer that answered the phone asked "was it a 206?" as soon as the crow barring was mentioned, and went on to explain that there is currently a surge of this kind of forced entry on this model of car. Good work.
