He may have spunked it on a helicopter/boat/Playboy bunny etc. Or just bought a nicer house. £1.7m would get you something moderately nice around here - but nothing particularly fancy.

Having read the full ad I would have to plus 1 this. It is absolutely incredible seems to have been built with true attention to detail would easily be all the car you would ever need. At that current price it's a total bargain.

That's a tricky one. In reality I wouldn't buy 1 expensive car, I would buy a selection of old ones (Merc 560SEL, Jag XJS 6.0, Chevy m1008 CUCV).

If I had to pick one car with unlimited funds it would probably be a bmw 1M.

They go round corners better than you'd ever give them credit for and they are properly screwed together now.

Not the costliest, most nimble or fastest car out there. But hard to find many other cars that are just soooooo right.
