Has the OP not considered that perhaps their journey may have started off really foggy like mine was this morning.
1 mile down the road & it was completely clear & I switched mine off. Perhaps they had just forgot?

Either way, just chill or confront them next time because you sound like you need to let of some steam!
wonder if they use the same forgetful mentality when coming off a motorway to say a 40mph stretch of road?

I expect so yes.
Just like the people who forget that they have indicators!

I can see the problem with rear fogs but i have no issue with front fogs to be honest. They are hardly hunting lamps dazzling me from 6 miles away! Back in my boy racer days i would use the front foglights all the time "coz it was cool init", but those days are gone, i was fed up of being pulled over by plod and being talked down to.

I have fogs on the current car but they only get used as and when they need to be, i am too old for the hastle these days!!

Fog light wkers used to wind me up as well as MLM's and the 40 everywhere brigade but I think they've finally broken me! The above idiots are becoming the majority now and I've just resigned myself to the fact that if I drive any other time than pre 8am on Sunday mornings it will be unpleaseant and I may as well just accept it and not get wound up by it.

I had the unfortunate experience of having to drive into and around Croydon on Saturday night and I would say that the number of cars with correct lighting for the conditions was probably nearing the minority. There were lots of fogs and cheap retrofit DRL's on show but worryingly and considering it was a number of hours after sunset the amount of cars with no lights at all was astonishing!
