not a big fan of them tbh.
but i believe most parts i.e complete brake setup will retrofit most fords before and after this model, so as someone who is looking to get a decent brake conversion done on the rear of my (drummed) focus it may be worth picking up, using it for bits i want/need then either breaking it and scrapping the rest.
been looking at 'decent' setups for conversions for my 2000 Focus and just the complete rear axle it hitting £400.
also has this thread really descended into 12 pages of Anal jokes!?
well done fellow PHers!
The PCD is completely alien to any other Ford being 5X114 so not really suitable donor.but i believe most parts i.e complete brake setup will retrofit most fords before and after this model, so as someone who is looking to get a decent brake conversion done on the rear of my (drummed) focus it may be worth picking up, using it for bits i want/need then either breaking it and scrapping the rest.

It was my dream car when I was a lad and Ive always wanted to have one.
I wanted an F40 Audi Quattro Sport S1
Ferrari Testarossa
And most of all James Bond's Aston Martin DB5...
Strangely the Ford Probe never really came into it but I did have a soft spot for the Capri 3.0S.

I had one in the 90s. Quick enough in a straight line, but shiny leather meant I'd slide off the seat during enthusiastic cornering. Also had every switch labelled as I recall - you'd have to pretty special to not realise what the window winder was without it being named.
All in all though, good car apart from the name. Definitely a worthwhile shed from my viewpoint.
Oh, and to get back on track, anal carnival (if it hasn't been...)
