Am I the only person that reads 'we've only done 2k miles in it since 2004' as either 'it's st and broke immediately' or 'it's clocked'?

I played this excellent game on the drive to work this morning.
Highlights:

Anal Fit
Anal Crown
Anal Gloria
Anal Prelude
Anal Elgrande
Anal Insight
Anal Coaster
Anal Crew
Anal Oddessy
Anal Laurel
Anal Wish
Anal Emina
Anal Crown Athlete (runner up)
Anal IST (winner)

All spotted from an Anal Cappuccino.

Japan may well be the best place to play this game (which is probably quite boring in Germany). What will the drive home turn up? Can't wait.

Ditto. I always thought it was a progressively attractive machine. Dunno how they drive, but darned good looking. And a bar-gone-ey.

WTF is that weird looking creature sat in front of the car in pic 2? eek The hound of the Baskervilles? Good shed though for a wee laugh even if it is ugly as hell.
I was thinking the same, fire the hound in and I will buy the car!

Anal...no no...I'm going to stop right now. It's far too early for this.

Anyway as already hinted at, a Cougar can probably be had for shed money so this is pointless.

I have a SOTW style Cougar I picked up for £950. It's served me quite well, but I wish had bought a Probe. Purely for the pop up lights.

Also...

Anal Expedition/Excursion/Explorer all sound like some sort of Ranulph Fiennes-esque challenge set before a night out when in Magaluf! Not that I've been, or would take part in such a thing; that's how he lost his finger tips!

Highly under-rated in my opinion. Sad they never got the engines the chassis deserved. If I had the money I'd but this weeks shed in a heartbeat. Good find. thumbup

Well worth looking after as they are getting collectable now and with the Ford parts bin an ST24, ST220 or Jag' V6 conversion could give the car the poke the pop up lights and lines deserve. Lest we forget the American version of the Probe had the mighty 2.3 Pinto turbo so the YB should be a straight enough swap as well.

The only thing I didn't like about the Probe was the fact the car is front wheel drive. Because the car was marketed over here as a replacement Capri, front wheel drive was a let down to be honnest. Having said that I've now owned several front wheel drive coupe's and liked them all.

I wonder if the chap would be willing to take a Rover 213S as a part ex'? scratchchin

Is a 168bhp 2.5v6 from 1994 really considered asthmatic? The old e36 325 from the same era had a whole 2bhp more and no-one criticises that.

A few of us from the Capri club I used to run were invited by Ford to test drive a probe for a day. A friend of mine had his write up in Auto Express Probe Vs Capri, bloody useless car in comparison to the Capri, but once you got that idea out of your head it wasn't a bad car, it was never going to stand out from the crowd though.

Just had a rummage and I've still got the original launch brochures, paint books and the 'press night' launch video that I blagged from my local dealer.

My English teacher when I was at school had one of these. I'm pretty sure he was a serial killer.
The music teacher at my secondary school drove one of these, albeit the 2.0 16v model in turquoise with the grotesque three spoke wheels. He got caught shafting a six former in the theatre... A male six former that is. Even at that tender age, the irony of his probe ownership was not lost on us.
