its all about weight and traction, my car is 600bhp/650kg/mid engined but i cant put all the power down in first and only in second if i was running drag slicks.

Is the rule what factory car would beat it, or what road legal car would beat it as thats a totally different story
Road legal.
I have a 205 pug with Carbon panels, it has uprated Cossie 4x4 running gear and 2.2 Stroker engine Cossie YB on a close ratio box...top speed around 155 / 160....about 620 bhp and 530 ftlb, it has uprated diffs (all 3) and it CAN put down almost all of its power...that is road legal. I am under 900kg and I think it would have a good crack at doing those times. It is in the 6's to 100 mph.

Do it !

Should be a PH event at a drag strip, I haven't got anything that would challenge but would be fun to try, I reckon mine could do 15/16 seconds.

Well in that case

14 odd seconds to 100mph and that’s the Furbo S 250bhp Model. You need a hugely faster car - this with stopping time is likely double the time of the Cobra or the F1.
In your dreams!
14 seconds to 100in a 250bhp 944 is pretty easy to replicate I would imagine 12 is do able and then time to brake.
12 is doable ? how would you find another 2 seconds over contemporary road test figures ?
Lay the back seats down.
No need for that test ... putting the seats down improves handling as it distributes the weight more effectively

You mean it shifts CoG forward?

How is that going to help straight line acceleration in a RWD car? tongue out
Lets not go there .. it was done to death years ago ;-)

It doesn’t have any back seats as based on a van but I may fit some so I can lay them flat to save weight.

.. Or any 1000cc sports bike built in the last 20 years?

Available for just a few thousand pounds hehe
The only way a bike would stop quick enough is if it hit a wall.

Thanks, it is pretty mad with mind altering acceleration.
