This car looks fantastic and the colour isn't a bad detractor at all, at least it's not white! The grille reminds me of the old 500SECs, I would love one.

The colour is great, I think - but for those who don't like red, I'm sure it comes in other colours! Maybe it's just a bit unusual to see a Merc in red, when they're usually silver or black. Also, why 'Black Series'? To me that overall title implies stealth or subtlety, but this C63 has neither, even if it was in a darker colour! I too hate the rear spoiler, but the rest of the styling is just on the right side of 'muscular' as opposed to 'Max Power'.

No doubts about it's ability, but it looks like it's spend far too long gelling its hair and spraying on fake tan.

Black Series cars should look repulsive , like a bd child of a halfords window and DTM cast offs . When I saw the C Coupe black at the screenings I nearly wet myself .
Its a funny car like the CLK you either get it or you dont , its very difficult to put these cars into a category .
They are black Series , they do not yield to common conceptions of the sports car . They dont fit into a single category . The CLK black is the most fun you can have in a car , this sounds even better . I am losing sleep where the 458 , Maclaren etc left me cold and frigid like a midget , jelly fish , toad ,
mermaid creature .
Black is back gentlemen , Black is back .

Don't get me wrong, I'd tear off your arm for the 'Blood Red' one if it was free but I like the 'Silver' one here. It's muscular and understated, hinting at the power encapsulated inside rather than the 'Blood Red' one and the other 'Black' one, which are a little bit naff - a bit too techno-GTR.

But it would have to be in the right colour... I wouldn't want it causing fashion difficulties with my herringbone.

Tired old comment but - why no manual option? Those V8 63s are some of the best sounding engines ever fueled. Would be nice to drop down a gear or two and floor it! Might need that rear spoiler for moments like that!

At what point can you not "drop down a gear or two and floor it" in a car with an auto/dct box? Fair enough MB's gearboxes are renowned for not being the best around (SLS) but it doesn't stop you doing this.

There is a world of difference selecting yourself and waiting for the gearbox to sort things out, even with a modern flappy paddle arrangement. If I was looking for something that raw I would prefer to select manually.

i belive, if you want rear seats you lose the bucket seats in the front for standard seats front and rear.
