A nice round 300kph I imagine?
Hmmm. Honestly, I think that amount of power would not be able to make the car go any faster anyway, and that they're fibbing with the "electronically limited", or rather, they have set a limit of 1mph below the physical limits so that they can say "electronically limited", so people think it's capable of much more.Call me cynical if you like.

It has over 500bhp, it would be comfortably in the mid to late 190mph range I would imagine.Call me cynical if you like.
997 GT3 is 415ps and manages 191mph top speed, as long as the merc had a similar CD and frontal area or even if its slightly worse, it will still be in the mid to late 190s I would imagine, if not touching on 200mph.
I recall delimited examples of the original supercharged SL55 (with under 500bhp) achieving 200mph if I'm not mistaken?

Gearing and wind resistance effect it more.
Yes - it's £21k less than the early brochure I got.
The spec is pretty comprehensive. You can pay more for stereo upgrade, special paint etc, but base spec is good, includes comand etc.
Interestingly, it refers to what sounds like a standard folding rear bench, rather than 2 sports seats in back. Deletion of the bench is a no-cost option.
Track pack (tyres+rear axle cooling) on top is £5k, aero pack is £7k and interior carbon is £1600.

you don't get rear seats if you have the bucket seats. rear seats only with standard sport seats.Interestingly, it refers to what sounds like a standard folding rear bench, rather than 2 sports seats in back. Deletion of the bench is a no-cost option.
are bucket seats standard?
