I never thought of the day, I'd see a freshly polished turd! It just lacks the M-sport badge..

don't get me wrong, it's hideous....

but, think of it like this, the chap (gotta be) doesn't have much cash, but has loads of passion for cars, every month he has a bit left in the kitty (£10-20 maybe) and spends a bit on his car. The only universal stuff you can get for that sort of money is shiny crap, every month he sticks something else on and after a year you end up with............that!!!!!

i've seen it before (not as extreme mind) with owners clubs i've been to. individual bits that are just about acceptable, but en masse it looks godawful

That was Matlock Bath, not Matlock. Charvers travel there from far and wide...

When I lived in Matlock Bath it used to be absolutely jammed, even during Spring & Summer weekdays, let alone weekends. Now it seems to see far less visitors, even charvers appear to be staying away, for the most part.

It scares me that I have to share the roads with someone who thinks doing this to a car is a good idea. You didn't manage to get a pic of the driver did you?
Since when has a dire taste in car accessories meant that you were a danger on the road? wink
Well it doesn't directly, however I've generally found that the more tat attached to a car the more it serves as a warning to avoid on the road, unless of course this is just a piss take by the owner.

Yes, I worked in Wirksworth until recently. I think that it closed as soon as times got harder - no doubt the rent/lease/ground rent was extortionate.

They shouldnt have been allowed to build it in the first place. Did the old petrifying well stand there before?
