Well that all looked pretty boring an uneventful.....

Shove your foot to the floor, it sets off fast for you.
Stamp on the brake, it stops fast for you.
Pull a lever, it changes gear for you.

Might as well park itself too, like that boring new focus does!sleep
Ah but that's the thing about watching video's.. they remove the sense of occasion and realism. You have to be used to travelling at that speed and precision to appreciate how good the car is at high speed. The way in which modern Porsches excell is that they build cars which can be driven with very little input allowing you to arrive at silly speeds, which in most other cars would require balls of steel and racing driver qualifications. My vintage 928GT, is the exact opposite - unforgiving when you get it wrong, and requiring a lot of effort to make it fast - smooth being the case in all scenarios.

It may be very clever, but it won’t / can’t do this!

And we'll never again hear the song of the Le Mans derived Mezger six:

VW will ruin Porsche as soon as Piech retires.

(Lack of) excitement aside, there's no denying that it looks bloody quick...

Must admit it did cross my mind whether the video had been sped up in places.

Hopefully not ruin, however deed is already done. VW/Porsche is a brand corporation, the heart of porsche was the heart of a man. Maybe second hand now becomes an obvious choice which suits my wallet better.

Hmmm... sounds nice but honestly? quite honestly? I was bored.

Ooodles of ground clearance which makes it look kinda wierd for a performance sports car.

This is what modern, fast porkers should look like... Yum!

This is more like it. 991+pdk= yawn, yawn yawn.

I think it looks and sounds Awesome. It has an options list right? Test drive them all and then choose the ones you want and don't want. Simples.
