RE: PH Carpool: Chevrolet Camaro Z28

I really like these, especially the generation that came before (3rd?). There is one that is running round Inverness that sounds incredible, and like you said in the article, no one seems to know what it is!
I will probably own something like this one day, but it would have to be a manual I think

F bodies are great cars. One of my biggest regrets was not buying a 40K mile example a couple of years ago for $6 grand.
The manual car I was going to buy (in Jewish racing gold) was not only fast but brilliant fun to drive. Really hairy chested fun the like of which doesn't seem to exist anymore in this crappy world of hybrids and diesel snore-wagons.
Good luck to 300bhp, nice choice of wheels.

If I were in the market for a hideously ugly LHD car then this is what I would get.
Decent writeup though, it's amazing how cheap American muscle can be to run, especially if you're prepared to wait for parts to come from accross the Atlantic they can be had for cents.
LS engines are brilliant, infact I could make a good case for it to be the greatest car engine ever. I'd just prefer mine in a Corvette or VXR8.
