I saw a relatively young bloke driving a very ropey looking V reg Kia Pride today.

Now far be it from me to laugh at someones misfortune but I thought how bad must things be that that was the best car you could get your hands on.

So which car would you rather walk home in the rain naked than be seen driving in?

For me it would have to be this

The missus has a mercedes slk and I bloody hate it, it also has a very crap private plate.

We go out together in the van rather than that.

I'd drive the Lambos of course, but I'd be fervently hoping nobody I knew saw me and it'd have to kept hidden away if I owned one. I can't really explain it, but they make me cringe. I think they're just too attention-seeking IYSWIM.

Any luxury 4x4. The whole concept makes me wince.

Is it the colour in particular? What about a black Murcielago?

I saw a bloke driving one with a plastic woman in the passenger seat, the poor chap had a very surly look on his face.

I think most PHers wouldn't want to be seen in a Prius either.

Possibly. A spoilerless Diablo 6.0VT in a boring grey or silver would be ideal. However that SV is just sex and I'd get over it.

Would make the ultimate sleeper if you could bolt in a more useful Nissan lump.

Think that body would fit over a better Nissan underneath?

I'd drive anything. I'm not proud.

But one thing I'd never do...borrow money to buy a car. If I can't afford it I don't have it.
