So you don't have a mortgage then?
Eh??? I say "I would never borrow money to buy a car, if I cant afford it I don't have it" and you say "so you don't have a mortgage then?" Sorry, I must be missing something.

As it happens, I don't have a mortgage, I've paid it off, but I have had in the past. But a house isn't a depreciating asset. Not over the long term anyway.

I would never borrow money to buy a depreciating asset. Which means that I have had some absolutely useless cars over the years, and been the butt of many of my friend's jokes. But they are still paying off their mortgages. Because I've never paid any interst for anything in my life apart from a mortgage, I got mine paid off years early.

Really!

Im sorry but if it a choice of bus or any form of public transport, vs being personally in control of a mechanical device to get me from A to B. My decision would be always be the latter.

It could be a motorised barbie candy floss maker with neon flashing lights, and i would still rather drive it.

I'd drive anything If I hadn't got a car - be better than walking

I wouldn't say no to any of the above tbh...
I'd drive the Lambos of course, but I'd be fervently hoping nobody I knew saw me and it'd have to kept hidden away if I owned one. I can't really explain it, but they make me cringe. I think they're just too attention-seeking IYSWIM.
The Diablo looks a lot more OTT than the Gallardo.

If you were given the keys to any of them, I bet you'd drive them! Then again, a Lambo isn't made for the inconspicuous.

I really don't care if I am having fun, be it a pink Figaro or whatever, don't waste your energy on what other people think, to be honest you might be getting it wrong anyway,

2nd class driving is better than 1st class walking, you can derive fun from any car

Saw an old guy driving an Aixam (sp?) whilst smoking a cigar earlier. Even had a flat cap on. Looked awful and he looked like he was slouching/ducking because of how small it is in there.

Can't post a pic as I'm on phone. Any help?
