If you've been forced to use public transport in the last five years you'd be happy to drive anything. I sold my car a couple of years ago in a money-saving crusade, I lasted two days taking the bus and bought another car.

Bearing in mind OP's question was

there are an awful lot of people being morons/trolls, the mong listing all the BMW's/Audi's above for one, so you wouldn't drive a 1 series because [i]it's the hatch version and would ruin my street cred[i]. rolleyes

Personally I like to drive as many different cars & other types of vehicle as I can, mind you I find occasionally driving a van a laugh and even more so a mini-digger getmecoat

Quite right. I've driven a Trabant, and I've owned a Daf 33 Daffodil. When the bar has been set that low, there is nothing I'd be ashamed to drive.

Most people on here are concerned with what other people will think of them. Well personally, I couldn't give a flying fk.

Any "all show no go" car. I had a 318d M Sport loan car for two days and felt a complete T1T driving it. £30k of car, big wheels, fat tyres, covered in bodykit, 140ish bhp - fail...

Any S-Line Audi with a small engine.

Any Merc with fake AMG bodykit.

Any non M BMW with M badges.

Also drove a 355 a few times (relatives owned it) and in Cornwall, I felt a complete tw4t driving it. Yes it was a lot of fun when no one was looking but it appeared to incur wrath among most other drivers. Too wide for our roads too. If I could afford one/had no kids (!) I'd get a much more subtle 911 any day.

+1.

Some sorry crap posted nowadays.
I am regreting starting this thread now as it goes as anything with wheels and an engine is better than an Ox cart.

It was just a crude way of asking which cars you really hate.

WHAT?! You are meant to hate all sorts of cars, judge everyone by what they drive, be mortally offended if someone knocks your ride, despise entire brands of car, etc, etc!

Oh +1 by the way wink

So do I, but if I've to be in Edinburgh and back in a day, I'll take the train. I can't sleep and get drunk in the car. I'd rather do that than drive any multitude of cars that are less than able motorway companions.
