I might just buy a mustang.

Although I would prefer a challenger......

Has been a proper deflating experience though tbh.

What happened to the interesting mid range motor?

Where are the MR2s, the Supras, the cosworths, the celicas, the RX7s......the fun?
Well, that nice Mr Nissan went to the trouble of providing us with the excellent 350Z/370Z but for some strange reason British people seem reluctant to buy a car which ticks all the boxes they're asking for.

For some reason I don't understand everyone wants a dreary front wheel drive Audi instead.

marketing and brand perception combined with ignorance ... it's a powerful force

What's your monthly budget? £400-500pm should see you in a new M3 according to a thread on here I thought. No better car in that price range.

I can only find an M3 for close to that with a 6 month up front and a 4 year lease.

And its a bit....dull. (Yes it might be an excellent drive, but it's still dull)

I think you may be suffering rose tinted spectacles syndrome, it happens when you get into the last half of your life.

What's wrong with an Audi TT, Z4, Focus RS, 3 series coupe, GTR, Boxster, Cayman etc... etc...

You may be right. they just all seem....very whitegoods.
Cayman and Z4 perhaps excepted.

Actually having just read the specs on one of em...

I don't want "Brake Assist, Cornering Brake Control and Dynamic traction control"

  • sigh*
bks, I'll just get the marcos back on the road.

If you've driven one then fair enough, but if you haven't then make sure you do, you wouldn't be the first by a long way to change your mind.
