Why the fu*k are you parked across my drive.

seriously now, I have some fu*kwit parked across my drive every other day, there has been 3 times in the last month I couldn't even get out the drive at all.

So, people who park across my drive (or other peoples drives) I think they should be named and shamed on here.....

its called the shuffle, move back a metre, turn left a bit, move forward a metre, turn right a bit, about 100 times for 10 minutes. Till you just about get pass with the rear bumper nearly on there car, and the front bumper on the house wall. (sideways drive on the corner of a road).

Surely the sort of person who drives a '95 Escort estate has little interest in cars so is unlikely to be on PistonHeads?

If he's blocking you into your drive take a photograph and report him to the police as it's an offence. Just make sure they won't let him know who complained, if he's making a habit of this he deserves it.

I'm sure the said owner of an N-plate Escort Estate will be frequent poster in here, and take note of your thread.

Instead of having a random rant in here, go get a trolley jack and move it into the middle of the road smile

This. Call the non-emergency number for your local police force. They'll trace the driver and try and get in touch with him. If they can't then they might decide to tow it and his expense for you.

Or if you want handbrakes aren't that strong. If your cars outside the blocked drive or you know someone who's willing to do it a bit of tow rope will pull it out of the way easily.

Law won't do anything about it, Unlikely that the owner might be on pistonheads (but the owners of the local garage who keeps putting the cars there might be).

I know its a rant, but year after year it gets you down.

Go and have a word with the garage owner then, if they wont stop it then come back on here for advice on alternative ways to stop them then.

confused why not ask the garage to not park there instead of posting on PH about it?

Similar thing happened to me.

One of my neghbours was throwing a party overnight and his guests vehicles litered the street. A modified Saxo was parked across my driveway. I was up for work at five and there was no point knocking on the door so I jacked the car onto a pair of dollies and pushed it in front of a bus stop. By the time the owner surfaced there were three parking tickets on the windscreen. wink

Wouldn't recommend damaging their cars but are they the garages cars or their customers ?

Borrow a couple of passing burly men to give you a hand in giving the Escort a shove out of the way.

I came across a couple of blokes heaving an Avensis away from someone's driveway not long ago. Offered a hand but they'd already got it rolling by then!
