Turning lights - whats the point???

Had moving foglights on my mr2.

I have them on my Rocco but they are in the headlight cluster and I do find them useful. I agree the ones that just turn on a fog light look stupid but doesn't annoy me.

They are for the terminally dense among us, people so stupid they can't see the kerb/hedge/river and need additional lighting for their paltry brain & eyes.

I live in a cottage in the middle of nowhere and when driving a hired 508 I found them pretty nice to have on our very tight and very dark lanes. Could certainly live without them though.
