I was following this GTO earlier and it was on a "H" plate, it was in mint condition, totally standard bar from possibly a nice SS exhaust, not some stupid drain pipes, crap pic but I think you can just see them?
Over 20 years old and looked brilliant.

Some pics of others...

Good topic. I think the E36 coupe (Montreal blue and if not barry'd) still looks quite fresh.

Original Lamborghini Gallardo. Still looks as fresh now as it did in 2003, despite the LP560 looking even better. Probably down to its fairly outrageous looks.

I know it's a top gear suggestion, but the Jag XJS aged well, and I think the XK (previous generation) is now ageing very well.

Peugeot 406

The best looking family saloon of the last 20 years.

For a facelifted version of a 17 year old design it still looks fantastic. Consider its rivals at the time, Mondeo, Primera, Vectra, Laguna etc all of which show its age now but in my view the 406 looks just as modern as any new Eurobox you care to pick out.

Audi Convertible (Lady Di vintage) - Saw an immaculate one the other day in London and still looked good.

It did look ok, but im slightly tainted as i had one for 4 years as a company car and it was a bag of crap, rattles squeaks, trim falling off, slow, rusty, breakdowns, awful car

MK1 Focus and maybe Mk1 Ka? Especially when you think said Ka came around in what, '96/'97 and went unchanged for nigh-on ten years.

EDIT: Second the 406 nomination. Elegant, pretty and timeless.

I owned one for a couple of years and it was a fantastic car. Probably the most reliable car ive ever owned, it was totally trouble free, i never even had to replace a bulb. I know some taxi drivers who swear by the HDi versions, some have run them to 250k+ and are still on the road running faultlessly.

My 406 surprised me because French cars are usually a pile of unreliable dross but i think the 406 was made during lunch hour when someone sensible snuck in and made it.

Not everyone agrees, but

It's peers (gtv etc) look old now, but bits of the coupe still look great - front less so, but modern wheels and I would!
