I have been running a group of Ferrari's and others for years. Variety is the spice of life, after all! And since I like to drive, it keeps the miles down on each....

And I might swap out th Q7 for a quick estate (RS4?), especially if adding a Defender to the mix for snowy days.
Need the 3rd row of seats, unfortunately. We also go long distances in it so a Defender 110 isn't part of the solution either. The Q7 is plenty fast enough for its passengers! Plus RS4s seem to attract the wrong sort of criminal straight to your front door.

I agree with several others in answering the questions raised:

Yes

No - but I don't have to!

Marquis any chance of some Challenger photos?

Have to say it's one of my top 10 classics!

The above two pictures are old now. The engine is out.

Show the extensive work carried out installing the new 6 speed Tremec box
Thanks for that!!

Me thinks an owners cars thread may be required for your rebuild!
I almost talked an American serviceman into letting me buy one some years ago, but they are not allowed to sell them over here!

If having three vehicles is a fleet then yes:-

BMW Z4 : my daily driver and also for when it's sunny and having some high speed fun.
Mazda MX5 : her daily driver and also for when it's sunny and having some low speed fun.
Range Rover : For every other occasion including when there's a foot of snow around.

Justification : I can afford them and they all fill a requirement and get regularly used.

I am tempted to add an F355 but I'm not sure it will get used enough - cars are primarily for driving and enjoying - not just 'having them' ............. it's my engineering background holding me back!

The thing is, so long as you've got room to put them, the costs of running a "Fleet" aren't nearly as scary as one would imagine. "Classic" insurance on my old MX5 was only £150/year fully comp. Couple of hundred quid for tax.. Happy days!

However, it's greatly disappointing to learn that, despite doing half the mileage of one car each, the bloody MoT still works out just as expensive...

Not wanting to be to negative, but I found that when I had my "fleet", the individual mileages i put on the cars dropped
and thats when things started to go wrong.
Cars like being used and if they're of a "certain age" then things seize, rubber hardens and electric's play up.
Not a problem if you've got a fleet of more modern stuff i imagine.

Im Currently running 3 cars; my justification? i wanted to! :-)
the story goes; brought my s1 elise 2 years ago as a project so needed another car alongside of this so brought an astra g for £400 and love it! but its cr@p over winter and a little 'bland' so i thought id get myself a bigger more comfortable car - bmw x5 and SHMBO has the astra

so current line up stands at;
s1 elise - weekend fun
bmw x5 - everything else
astra g - for 'the boss'

not bad for a 22 year old??

Good fleet, I think a barge/4x4 is an essential component.

Mines a sensible fleet... at least I think it is, all have a purpose..

Alfa Giulietta JTDm. Eco friendly tax efficient but still interesting company car.

Fiat Panda 1.1 Active dead cheap to run for shopping and 24 year old Daughter.

1998 Honda CRV 4x4 only does short journeys but mostly with a Dog in a cage in the back, been useful in the Snow too.

1972 Alfa 2000 GTV, Weekend Toy and Historic Road Rally car.

1968 Alfa 1750 GTV, major restoration project and parts bin for the other GTV
