Some people here are naming their actual 2 cars whilst others are listing their dream 2.
Good point!

Currently we have a Honda CRV auto and a Fiat 500 1.2 which is possibly the worst 2 car combi ever and something that needs to be remedied fast!

RS4 Estate for the B&Q run and then a TVR Chimaera 5.0 for the cruising around. I'm half way there......

That Audi is nice, but not worth the good side of £100,000!

Ford Mondeo TDCI 130 - Comfy, quiet, spacious, lots of toys, cheap to run
Caterham 7 - noisy, huge fun.
Snap! The racer is only a 5-speed though...

Past state

=======

Mercedes-Benz S124 230TE
BMW E63 645ci

Present state

=======

Mercedes-Benz CL55 AMG (for certain types of errands)
BMW E53 X5 4.4i Sport (for 'seeing a man about a dog' and careering throughout Europe)

Future state

=======

Either Porsche 911 (997) C4s or BMW M6 Convertible (less need for the passenger seat to be a girlfriend carousel at present, so something to get A>B without the Death Star statement)
Volkswagen Toureg 3.0 V6 TDi or Porsche Cayenne 4.5s

Desired state

=======

Ferrari 550 Maranello
Range Rover Sport 4.2 Supercharged

A good E46 M3
A pristine W124 estate
That would keep me happy and it's an affordable prospect on an average wage. Two very different cars, both extremely rewarding in their own ways.

MK Indy R hayabusa.(400hp/ton)
Audi a6 TDI estate.(45 mpg at 85mph)

And unless I had another 50k it wouldnt be any different - it honestly is the cheapest to run combo for capability, Insurance/running costs, and smiles per gallon. If anything I'd just add a TVR Tuscan to love and tinker with.

This was my mezzanine period between past and present.
Works well. Of system justification, there is none required.

Currently I have a Freelander 2 TD4 HSE auto and a TVR Chimaera 450 biggrin

If the wallet was ever expanded by a lottery win I'd probably settle for a FFRR Autobiography with supercharger and a Porsche 911 (993 series) GT2.........plus a bucket load of life assurance hehe

BMW 335d Touring for wafting/distance driving/a bit of speedy fun
Land Rover 110XS (current model) for tackling snow, towing the boat, off roading, lugging, whatever.

Hardly a dream garage but they complement each other very well and suit us perfectly.

Oh and a garage full of (push) bikes if that counts?! And a kayak.

We have two young kids and a dog so two seaters are a no no for the foreseeable future.

Otherwise I'd have (in my dream garage!!!) a 991 Turbo (when they come out) and a RR Supercharged V8. And an oil well.
