good fast estate for around 2k

I've had two GSi estates. They'll easily do 30+mpg. I loved mine....so much so that me and the missus had his'n'hers GSi estates for a short while!

Obviously the autobox will taint your experience of a car. The GSi's have loads of character imo and are reliable. I did 30k in mine only needing a clutch eventually. They are rare too. I only saw a couple of others in the years I had mine.

How about an Accord estate? That's what I've got now and it's a nice car.

well the gsi sounds like a great idea then and i love the look of them.
as for a stagra, coming from a string or rb25det powered skylines i know what the running costs are like and it won't viable for my needs although id love one for q status!
anyone know much about the turbo saab's?
