Am I the only one who thinks the lancer 2000 turbo rally 1982 looks a lot like the MkIII escort (1980-86 according to wikipedia)?

345PS from the Starion rally car isn't in any way astonishing. Average, bordering on fairly poor, undoubtedly, but not astonishing.

The 205 T16 rally car had considerably north of 400 at launch in '84 and over 550 by the end of '86.

I find it fairly strange there's nothing from the 90's in there, considering their success in WRC and some of the cars they made then (Evos/FTO/GTO/etc).

Still a lovely collection though.

Good read, must have been a pleasure to go on that trip. Car museums can be weirdly emotional.
