I have owned my very own V8 (audi s5 4.2) for a month now, and i LOVE it it is also aided by a full stainless that the previous owner must have spent a fortune on!

Awesome Awseome noise.

I love... no, ADORE, both of mine.

An E55 estate, used sparingly, and a 3.5 fuel-injected Discovery.

How does £700 for a mint '93 Discovery with 46,000 from new sound? It was my part-time driver from March and was then promoted to my daily driver from August.
You own two V8's! Good skills.

Old luxo barges can be had for relatively low rent these days.

I have a V8 - trouble is its doesn't sound like one..................well more accurately barely makes any noise at all (LS430
Need to ask my wife for them first, think they are stored with the pickled eggs

Oh you press boys are such terrible badge snobs, I bet you change your mind with the badge.
I think the 12C has more charisma than the 458, and certainly holds a variety of colours better than the 458.

Still at least they are both lovely cars and the 458 makes the Merc look horrid. paperbag

Both my cars are V8's. One (Lexus) is silent, the other (TVR minus silencing) sounds like a Santa Pod refugee.

How different a V8 can be.

My two V8s are chalk and cheese, Range Rover Sport TDV8 and a supercharged MGZT260, the RRS gives a nice V8 wuffle even tho it is a diseasel and is effortless over long distances, the ZT since putting the Accufab 75mm throttle body on it it loves to rev and has a nice bark then the pops and bangs on the over run, then I had her fitted with the KB blower and now she feels like she should have been from the start.
The RRS is, I think, my 5th V8 that I have had smile

You may recall I was telling you about the LS400 that went in the Targa Tasmania back in the 90's with a very modified exhaust.

It sounded like a NASCAR!

I am very tempted to change the exhaust on my next LS

My Mustang sounds lovely, compared to more silent 1s I've heard around the area. Give it the beans!

I would hope the article wouldn't actually admit in the opening title that some of us think we're responsible for global warming!

I'm sure we all know that this is a con and just created to tax us into oblivion for the rest of our lives!

Yeah! More V8's! I love them. I will always be in love with my RS4 4.2 V8 but have a hankering for a 63 Merc.

My E39 540iA cost me £3k. It's a late 2001 in great condition, has only 70k miles, full BMWSH, and has had literally anything it's ever needed thanks to the comprehensive BMW warranty that has covered it all of it's life.

There are much cheaper ones out there, too.
