Yes they will tow it, but it is above their towing specification, eg X5 2700kgs
Q7, Cayenne and Touareg are all plated to tow 3,500kgs. I thought the X5 was too - I must be wrong, sorry.
Sorry to be picky but not all Q7's are plated at 3500kgs, only the bigger engined ones!!!!

I assume too often! Assumed as my Touareg is the baby 2.5 TDi 5 cylinder and that'll tow 3,500kgs. Which Q7 isn't up the the job? Smallest engine is the 3.0TDi which is in the Touareg that can tow 3,500kgs! Funny old world...

A family member used to tow a 911 around - unusually tricky because all the weight is so far back, it tends to put a worrying amount of lift on the tow ball on certain inclines.
Out of a varied list, Landcruiser Amazon was by far the best tow car out there. Great race support vehicle, too - rear hatch very easy to slide heavy things in and out of, power in the boot, never going to let you down etc.
Ignore those posh lot suggesting you arrive at the track in a FFRR, if you win peole will only accuse you of having a big budget =)
