Having looked it up (hoping for some comical German translation) I'm disappointed to report it's Schwanenjunge.

Quit moaning about the price and appreciate mental limited edition cars instead.

If more companies did stuff like this instead of playing it safe and forever producing the white goods drivel that they usually do then the car world would be a much more interesting place.

Yes you could have so many other things for the same price but the person buying this won't be thinking about those other cars.

The Seat version will be the most powerful too.

I'd rather have a diesel A3 and a 911 for the same outlay. Bonkers.

Do people really still think like that? "It's a girls car?" rather than taking it on it's own merits and abilities. Pretty tragic.

Gee, didn't see that coming.

Over £30K I reckon. God knows after a few options are added.

I would've added another £3k for a nicely used Nissan GTR.

Have already said this elsewhere but anyone who expects a limited run Audi to be cheap has quite clearly had their eyes closed for the last few years.

If you want to buy something else then buy something else. They're not trying to compete with normal production models.

The FIAT 500 Ferrari Tribute is £39,995 and is just a red FIAT with Ferrari badges, this at least is a proper car with a bigger engine.
Agreed! It will probably be the fastest production hatch available for a short period!!!! I can imagine it will produce some where in the region of 237 Bhp/ton. With 258lb ft torque on tap pulling that, plus occasional 4WD, this machine has all the ingredients to embarrass cars twice it's price! This car will be a success, and sell out instantly!

suddenly the 1m and RS3 seam like a bargain

if they keep it to very low numbers (300 worldwide) it should hold its price so probably worth a punt if your a quattro nut

For £34k you could have bought my old B7 RS4 and 7000L of fuel.

Not sure about the quattro thing though. ALL 4wd Audis are "quattro", so it's not exactly uncommon.
With ref to my 'propper quattro' comment I was just going along with all the comments of 'retro 80's quattros', those thinkin it will be a wrc homoligation special to see a Quattro back in the championship.

I read on the other thread about this motor that the 4wd system is heavy front bias and only kicks the rears in when the fronts loose traction. Tho no one has driven it yet to test this fully.

As for those thinking it's a wrc homoligation special, manufacturers dont need to do that anymore like they did for grpB, a wrc car only needs based on any current production model, so they could even use a 1.2 A1 wink
