Most folks as long as they don't take the piss. If they're insured I couldn't care less TBH. I let dozens of folks drive my GTR.

My brother, my cousin and of course my father and mother.

My father taught me how to drive and how to drive properly and I trust him with any of my toys. He has driven anything from vans to Miuras so I know he is okay.

My brother has driven anything and everyting so not a problem there.

My Mother is a very good driver and not a risk.

My cousin is much like me so again not a problem.
Just looked at your current garage, and your previously owned. bow
Thankyou smile Although it is due an update wink

Wife has carte blanche, obviously (although i get very nervous near kerbs)
mother
father
brother
erm, thats it. I know at least 2 blokes who would let me track their p+j, but I'd have to drive so far from the limit, it'd be pointless. Anyways, they're both nutters and I'd be scared of reciprocating =)

Depends on the car and the driver. I have one friend who is an excellent, cautious and mechanically sympathetic driver to whom I would feel comfortable lending pretty much anything. Then there are other people I'd lend the Saab to but not the Elise and others I'd be nervous about lending my push bike to.

My dad and my brothers pretty much anything, even for racing or trackdays providing it's stuff I'd race or track.

I've got a few friends who I'd trust too.

Cars I own that are fairly standard / replaceable I'd lend to any of my mates as long as they were insured.

My Supercharged MX5 that I've owned and modified over the last 10yrs I'd only let one mate drive on the basis that only he or I could rebuild it to my satisfaction.

(I'm sure there are actually quite a few motorsport places who are actually capable but no insurer is going to pay their rates to rebuild what is probably a £4k car)

My sister borrowed my old Golf for an afternoon out in Loughborough and it came back like this...

So the person who drives my car ever is me, myself and I.

yup, last time i lent a car out it came back with a crushed catalytic converter due to misjudging kerb height. never, ever again.

I would trust my brother with my cars and no one else. Spare keys are made available to no one.

EDIT: Come to think of it, the Type R is fairly benign, I doubt my mother or father would be revving to 5800rpm anyway, if driven slowly it just seems like a normal hatch back, albeit one that is a bit jerky at low speeds and particularly stiffly sprung! I still wouldn't trust them with it. My dad got some new wheels for his Impreza, had them finished in his colour of choice and less than a week after putting them on his car my mother had scraped and gouged one of them badly against a kerb. All 4 of them are kerbed now. On top of that, there is the numerous scrapes and bumps they have both had over the years. I appreciate that everyone makes mistakes but if anyone is going to be making mistakes in a car I paid for it is going to be me!

By enlarge myself other than the mechanics whom service the car at the garage. There is however a close friend with whom I trust and has kept my bike and car in his garage while I was away working.

As mentioned before the rule that if you bend it you mend it applies.

The micra then anyone can borrow it

The Unimog the nieghbours all know where the keys are and how to start it same as the landrovers

When i had the caterham i'd happily let anyone with more then half a brain borrow it if they promised to respect it. Only came close to chucking one guy out of it on an autotest as he slipped the clutch instead of leaving black lines everywhere. But it did cost one guy 30grand who borrowed it as he sold his lardy trackcar and bought an atom

That is it!!
Don't trust anyone parking next to it either.
My car is everything to me I love it. It puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it

Nobody, my Dad is on my insurance just in case of emergency but he just plows his way through potholes in his own car so I still wouldn't like him to drive mine.
