This poster was the last thing I saw before I went to sleep every night as a boy. I dare say seeing that will be a flashback for a few others too.

Easy 10 on the PH meter thingy.

Why do you get fire out the exhaust? Is this something modern Cats prevent?

Definately Ferrari's finest hour

I went in one at Dads Day Out at Dunsfold in 2010 and it didn't disappoint wink
Gareth Lloyd's? Remember him bringing it to Donington just after Xmas one year - looked fantastic

My favourite Ferrari too

The definitive Ferrari, and arguably car. Shame about the rubbish they have built since and what Ferrari has become.

I'm not the sort to go weak at the knees at the sight of a Supercar........... but these do give me a bit of a wobble rotate

Definately Ferrari's finest hour and the more technological it's successors become the greater the F40 will remain biggrin

A marvelous car and proof of what is wrong with every subsequent Ferrari can be found by looking at the interior. By any aesthetically driven measure it's horrible. And THAT is why it is so great.

No, mine actually (assuming you mean the F40). I think that photo was taken when it had to be parked up due to a faulty alternator. A quick trip to Halfords for a couple of batteries and got it going for a few more laps smile

Ah, I knew it was a different reg to Gareth's - I thought he might have got a p-ride because of the Escort connection and that was a different event in the photo.

Either way, lovely car smile

One of the most epic cars of all time IMO and definately in my euromillions must own list. I can't believe a couple of posters have mentioned a 458 in the same breath as this legend. Yes the 458 is very competent and obviously a very good car but IMO it's trying way too hard with it's chintsy looks, LED running lights and new money chasing styling. The 458 wishes it was as effortlessly cool as the F40, one of the ultimate expressions of function over form and purety of purpose vs overengineering, in fact the antithesis of the 458.
