I really fancy an E31, but nice ones are thin on the ground.
Surely that's just as wallet-damaging as the 911?

This coming Sunday I may have to ensure that my own garage plans are in order.

I have spotted a nice 540i SE.

But I'm not sharing it just yet.... wink
The only 540i SE to buy is that 2001 example that a threadist bought and then put back up for sale.

I've told you before Hornet, buy an SE and modify the suspension and/or wheels. As you well know, barges of this age need a suspension refresh anyway so you might as well save yourself some money for the job and buy the SE spec. And balls to your Sport bumpers too. biggrin
Funny you should say that - perfick spec for me I think would be SE suspension, with a nice set of wheels and Sport bumpers.

hehe
I'd go for SE bodywork, nice wheels and £££££ worth of Bilstein suspension and Quaiffe LSD. Mmmmm, one day.

Err, probably not £600!

How much is your ITR worth? You mentioned part ex'ing it against one of the 7's posted above - but i'd thought it would be worth more than that (I know nothing about ITR values).

You need a full sized sim (credit card sized, below). I used an old sim holder I found in the packaging of an old mobile and sellotaped a new Orange sim chip in, worked fine.

as above, you need a full size sim and must be O2 or vodafone but i can confirm my large phone in my 728i works absolutely fine and, other than entering numbers to store in the phone, i've never had to pick the unit up.

it's a different number to my normal phone so i've set it so if i say i'm busy (i.e. decline the call) on my normal phone it automatically forwards to my car phone. press button on steering wheel and the call answers and comes through the speakers. can adjust volume on the wheel too.

it's great biggrin
