Love it. The interior particularly. A V12 in that spec would be phenomenal.
Well mine is now 'officially' for sale (advert not up yet but have spoken to a couple of traders) and have been to see this 740 this afternoon. Looks ok but will get an inspection on it. Trader seems a decent chap. Anybody got any experience of them?Needs a little work on the rear bumper and there is some rust evident on the boot, but the chap there seems happy to sort something for a deal so will see what occurs. He's due to call back on Monday with a suggestion for a deal.
Meanwhile, if anybody wants T815 HRV and benefit from one obsessive current owner (ie, me ) let us know...
Just to confirm, I'm talking about this one:

i'd go for the luxury ones....£32 or so posted. i think black would be ok in my car? totally beige interior but interior plastics, steering wheel etc are all black so surely wouldn't look too out of place? beige mats are just daft...?
thoughts?
thanks
Black, and get them from BMW. There is no alternative.http://www.carmats2u.co.uk/bmw-7-series-car-mats-e...

Has that been lowered or is it just me? , the fin looks terrible.
Had a free morning, went and looked at it earlier. Agree don't like the fin, the interior is very nice, body is free from any parking dents, however there's lacquer peeling on bonnet roughly size of a mug so will require respraying, also small issue on driver’s door. It has detachable tow-bar, not colour coded. Drives well, brakes without pulling although a bit soggy. Temperamental sunroof, not sure if it just requires new switch. Overall quite nice, not sure whether bringing those issues up to scratch is worth it on a T plate? Oh, and it's just a 740i not an Lbigdom said:

Same car that I saw earlier. Haven't driven it yet waiting for chap to confirm figures. Not sure whether I approve of the towbar plate.ShockDiamonds said:

Now less than 24hrs to go on the auction for the 540T Sport Manual.
What do people think it will go for?
And how much do you think I should set my max bid at?!
Just over 3. What do people think it will go for?
And how much do you think I should set my max bid at?!
Bid around £3250 and you're doing alright if you plan to fix it up.
Do it.
Real shame, as it's such a pretty thing from 25m.
Leave it Jonny.
Seems there were 9 individual bids from 2 people in the last day and as said went up £1k in the last hour so clearly those 2 wanted it.

Pardon me but has this turned into a huge big appreciation of BMW motorworks, are there any other Barges to offer???
There was a brief deviation to Swedish barges by some but thankfully we are now back on to BMW's.I bought an Alpina B3 3.3 Saloon (Switch-Tronic) today. Not really a barge more of a mini 'sporting' barge. Might be a bit more fuel efficient than the V12

Yes I know this is over budget but I'm 99.9% sure that its the one posted and discussed about a week ago. Trader who had it up told me he sold it to a trader for £4500. Does look great although makes me dubious about the M3 trade in quote. Why put it? I'm all for making money selling cars including private individuals but nothing annoys me more than the half way trader. Either you're pukka or not.
Mate put me on to it and purchased locally so no link i'm afraid. Bit of a project, needs some bushes etc, a good service. Idea is to get it tidied up so I can use it daily rather than the 750i. Will post pics etc once it looks a bit better! Currently filthy and looking a bit sorry for itself in the garage!
