I love the XJ220, the closest I have and will ever come to owning one is having owned a few rover 200's and 400's.

What? They had the same rear lights! tongue out

Love the standard car, but this is better. If the girl friend aged as well as Jags do, you'd be onto a winner.lick

Obviously tongue out

Spotted this beastie at a meet up in Malton a couple of years ago. Still has the looks and insane road presence.

I never thought i'd say it but £200k is a relative bargain for such a piece of machinery.

I've never rated XJ220s much, and never knew about the XJ220S. Now that I do, I so much want one....

I wouldn't say no to that!!!! :-) Would prefer a standard spec car though....well....maybe with that 700BHP remap as well.......

What I find sickening is that this car has only covered 1200miles in nearly 20 years!!

I suspect most of those 1200miles will be manoeuvring around some private car speculators car park.

This car at £150k-£200k represents a bargain, compared with its contemporary the F40 and its spiritual successor the F1. With those tasteful (IMO) modifications it would be faster than both I suspect - nearly 700hp / Ton !!!!!!

I would dearly love to justify this purchase to the wife and kids...... you know, we didnt really need a house after all....

I'm not 100% sure but I don't believe it is an original XJ220S...still stunning though!
There's only supposed to be 6 and there are clearly more if you just Google Image Search, so it's not unlikely that people have been converting em in the hope of wringing some value out of what's not exactly the worlds most feted supercar...

Never knew this version existed. Still remember seeing an xj220 for the first in a showroom just after they were launched. Great supercar.

I love this version. It can always get a respray, but it doesn't look too bad and the lights probably are an improvement for night driving.

Between 1997 and 2002 I was a subbie for Evans Halshaw Jaguar/Aston Martin/Ferrari/Maserati in Birmingham.
This was parked in the valet bay for at least three months. Strange to think you'd get blase about seeing such a car, but I did !

Not the same car, that's just a regular XJ220.

Good thread though.
