True, i suppose the caterham is similar to your cerbera with regards to driving as its only used in summer/ track days by my father, brother and I. The Audi is for her indoors and the celica is mine for official use wink Although personally i would find it very hard to take the boxter for convertible driving when the cerbera is sitting there. If i were you the boxter would get used on rainy days, the jag in winter, and the tvr for everything else and you would be doing the world a favour by using it so often so we can listen wink

Do what we did -- replace Cerbera with ex-Demo M5 and a Caterham.

Sorted. Reliable. Bonkers.

I can't afford to do what you did

I'm going to keep two of them, not sure which two yet though

Having only hastily read through the previous posts. Forgive me if you have no desire or need for something that is not only fun, but also practical, will sit 4 adults and should, if maintained properly not depreciate.

If however a 'fully rounded' car has a place in your garage, may I suggest a nice
E34 M5 3.8litre?

Or if you want most of the above (apart from depreciation proof motoring) but with more GO. Then how about an e39 M5?

I would highly recommend a Jag.... But didn't think it would be your thing going by your original post. It's my 3rd XJ and it's up for sale only so I can replace with an older Series III

But I do have a BMW Motorsport Edition E30 Convertible and a 3 series Estate so I'm not anti the marque :-)

ive had lots of jags too, xj12s, daimler double sixs, couple of e types, a couple of xjs. also had a couple of 850i bms and a 635 and 325 as well so i like them both, never fancied a porsche but this one fell in my lap a bit. but already i think the boxster is a bit too antiseptic and the other two more of a cermony and a treat

Sorry bit of a meaningless post, but I briefly had a series three XJ12, fabulous motor if you're a Jag fan. SIII is my favuorite body shape, think they're a stunning design, and the V12 is the tits. Terrible shame they rust badly and cost a fortune to run......

My X308 is for sale so that i can replace with a Series III. would quite like to find a Daimler Double Six version though (Either way it has to be a late one in Solent Blue with Doeskin hide).
