One of the members of Dire Straits (sorry, I can't remember who, probably Mark Knopfler) comes into work occasionally in an Aston Martin DB5. It's immaculate, concourse condition. He's bought a boat from us.

I once saw the aftermath of a car James Martin was driving:

Whats the story behind this... clearly not a racing car... just being a tit?
Was he trying to kill a cyclist and missed?

Dickson Etuhu (kind of famous - plays for Fulham FC for the benefit of non-footballing types) in a 'pimped' Audi Q7 on Putney High Street more times than I care to remember.
Oh dear. As a Fulham fan of many years suffering, I had thought better of Big Dickson. Sylvain Legwinski used to turn up to the Cottage in a very battered old Golf, MK1 I think. The most down to earth footballer there has ever been, well maybe apart from Moritz Volz who used to turn up on a folding bike. To give credit to an ex-Spurs player (*mini sicks in mouth*), Jurgen Klinsmann used to drive a 1970s Beetle when he was in London.
It's not that bad being a Fulham fan is it? At least you get somewhere quiet to thumb through your Guardian of a Saturday afternoon. wink

Not hard to pick out Etuhu's motor - huge white Q7 with no. plate D 37UHU or something along those lines.

To continue the theme of footie players driving ste motors, Gary Neville used to turn up to training in a Prius...

The Good:

Jodie Kidd, lives down my road & drives a black Maserati GT. MMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm.......
Chris Evans, Ferrari 599, in Cranleigh with FAB number plate. I gave him a thumbs up - no response.

The Bad:

Chris Evans, Ferrari 550 crashed into a fence, just outside Cranleigh.

The Ugly:

Jordan, pink Range Rover, Southwater McDonalds drive-thru.

ETA: Liam Howlett has a Mac F1? He was already a hero in my eyes, he is now a hero x10.

Backham and Posh in a silver Ferrari 550 on the A66 near Penrith a good few years ago mind.
I think they had a 'holiday' home in the Lake district at one point.

Rory McIlroy in his Golf R32. Then Rory McIlroy a couple years later, in his Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder. Trading up and all that!

Many, many footballers in many, many Ferraris in Marbella. Also Gary Lineker's (infamous) brother Wayne, in his F430. Numberplate was 'trouble' ha!

Robbie Williams on the M4 after the 2005 Cup Final between United and Arsenal in Cardiff.

He was sitting in the back of a Roller (i think) with the number plate 'ROBBIE' or something like that.

They were doing well over a ton when they passed us.

-

Jason Dodd ex-captain of Southampton in a 330d saloon , he was checking out my 330 Cab smile

-

Dennis Bergkamp during the time he played at Arsenal , back in Holland near where his wife lives - he was in a Merc 500 or 600 SEL
Probably owned by the guy who owns all of these

Very very famous person on Southwark Bridge road just now in an Audi Q7. No idea who, but there was a police escort of a car behind and bikes ahead, and the Audi had flashing blue lights.

Great spot. I guess she spent some of her winnings from American Idol on the NSX and maybe a house in the Cotswolds to boot.

Many years ago , George Harrison left his home in Henley and followed me for about 5 or 6 miles in his Macca F1. If I remember, was a dark blue colour.
Saw MAG1C on a black bentley/ rolls at Sandown Racecourse also many years ago.No driver in it.

My wife worked for Blackburn Rovers and her Mother worked for Man Utd. I'm not into football at all so wouldn't know them from Adam, so no idea of who I saw when I've been to both places. But plenty of flash stuff.

Have met Souness, Hughes and Allerdyce at staff do's and many players. My wife and son has met Fergie when with her mum.

Only ever seen one 'celebrity' driving a car.

In Sevenoaks, Michael Gambon taking an almost suicidal line on a large roundabout in a Ferrari 355 Berlinetta. No wonder he ruined that corner on the TG test track - if it had been a wet day he'd have been back to front in no time
