Saw James in his (paddy Hopkirk?) Rally Mini @ Goodwood a couple of years back... He had the Mrs drooling about him for the rest of the day!

Oh it was awful, I was trying to have a proper petrolhead talk with him about cars, and random women just kept on coming over "oh james..can we have our photo" etc..all I ended up saying was, "275, nice car."

Jimmy Saville passing by Kilnsey crag on his way to open Kettlewell village fete, dark green Bentley Mulsanne Turbo R circa 1988 reg no JS 1, could see the cigar a mile away.

Once had a bit of a road rage incident with Nigel Benn, he was in a Brabus ML430, he was driving like a knob, which was a shame as I had previously held him in pretty high regard as a boxer.

Saw John Terry at the total garage in oxshott. Was filing up and a black RR with a bodykit (think overfinch!) pulled up at the next pump, had the crappest wheels on it. Went in to pay for my fuel then went to leave, he was blocking the door looking at the crisps with his two kids. I said excuse me and he gave me a 'don't you know who I am look'. T**t! Reg plate ended in 'TLJ'. His wife/ Wayne Bridge's was in the car.

Also saw DC in a white mercedes SLS.

Joseph A Hey funeral directors jag, based just down the road from my dads house they laid my gran to rest too.

A bump for a quite minor one but we spotted Jimmy White in a BMW 745 on the M25 yesterday, he seemed to have forgotten he wanted the M4 junction.

The previously mentioned "CUE 80Y" plate drew my attention initially.


Not one I spotted but here's James Martin in one of his cars at the weekend:

Then Boris Johnson againg but in a battered ford focus.

Also seen Robin Gibb in one of his jags.

And Jaykay in a lot of his cars. Most recently his new gulling Mercedes, p(before that was an old 1985 BMW 5 series in mint condition.

All of these have been in the same small village that I live

ABofC Rowan Williams in the passenger seat of a Hyundai or Kia hatchback.

Harry Secombe used to have a chauffered S-class. He let my brother sit in it and his driver showed him what all the buttons did. Lovely man.

Bonnie Tyler in an ivory white Lexus LS400 she had for many years as well as her in her husband's Bentley Conti T.

Not counting footballers and royals my best spot was Sean Bean in Belsize Park - he was driving a well used Ford Ranger crewcab.

I pulled over to let him through a gap and it was only as he gave a little wave of thanks as he passed that I recognised him. He genuinely looked like a builder. Guess the ranger doesn't attract much attention!
