Small fact, i fitted the plates to max cliffords ghost (100 max iirc) at his address before all his dirty laundry was hung out. Paid me quite generously aswell.

Simon Cowell in a Range Rover, he stopped at the zebra crossing to let me across the road. Down in Brighton years ago.

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen was behind me in traffic in an E-class a few years ago. (I use to work on the same road that talkback thames office was on).

There could have been more but I don't really pay attention to celebrity culture......

Queen Mother in Daimler limousine convoy - Windsor Gt. Park - mid 80s.

Clarkson in his F355 (**** YPL) departing Goodwood FOS at speed, early 00s.

A coy smile from Caroline Aherne in a Boxster on the M3 - early 00s.

Gok Wan in a Freelander on the M3 - mid 00s.

A podgy James Martin glaring at me from a stuggling moped, expecting his celeb status to afford him unobstructed use of the wrong side of the access road to a car park at Goodwood FOS - early 2010s.

Nick Mason, touching down in G-OOIO for an afternoon’s spectating at Castle Combe - early 2010s.

Jordan Price, slinging her pink RRS through an East London gyratory, shadowed by heavies in a matching white one - early 2010s.

Lord Sir Harry’s Garage of Metcalfe in his Countach, near Blenheim Palace, last year.

Yep think that was the reg, he would be seen weekly filling the car up at the Shell garage opposite work, always happy for a chat and very pleasant. When paying for his fuel, he would sometimes pay for the persons behind him in the queue, without them knowing and then just leave the shop.

The wife worked with his sister in-law for a few years.

Rod Stewart in his white Miura SV in Hammersmith Road, Kensington, Christmas '71, I was just a nipper at the time and didn't realise who he was till my uncle told me, we were on a Routemaster bus at the time. The sight of that car though is etched into my grey cells forever more.

Seen Edd China drive past my house a few times in his sofa car. He used to keep it at his business, Grease Junkies, just up the road from me.

Oh and Johnny Ball, father of Zoe Ball, in his Mk2 Granada back in the early 80s.

Was on the way to a high-level strategy meeting.

The Duke of Edinburgh in a Range Rover on the M3 near Basingstoke. It was a Bank Holiday Monday around lunch time and after storming up the slip road with half a dozen cars in hot pursuit, the motorway was a three lane 60mph traffic jam. Short of diving up the hard shoulder I was low on ideas. The Range Rover in Lane 1 moved into the middle lane to make room. We slotted in and I looked up to wave thanks. Prince Phillip was driving and there were two heavies with him. All three ignored me. Despite that he went up no end in my estimation.

I saw JK at a classic car auction end of last year ,Historics at MB World.

No idea if he bid or bought anything ,saw him looking at cars before the auction kicked off.
