Robert Plant used to frequent our local pub (The Lion in Clifton-on-Teme) when I was in my teens and he always arrived in a huge white Merc saloon with a horrible 'Zender' like body kit and big (for the time) wheels.
His dog used to jump around inside and set the alarm off.
Robert also used to openly flirt with the young waitresses in front of his missus. Legend.
Found out years later, due to meeting in said pub, he and my hard drinking farmer grandad were also firm friends.

Unconnected but I once saw Rusty Lee (ITV TVAM chef?) in her Lotus Excel in Stourport-on-Severn pulling out of a carpet shop I think..

I think you win the thread with your epic combination of Rusty Lee a carpet shop in Stourport and a Lotus. That's an unbeatable hand.

I have also seen Robert Plant locally arriving at a folk festival in a taxi - a Citroen Berlingo no less. Which seemed quite modest.

In 2003 I had a brand mew just launched BMW Z4 and I was passing Highgate House on my way to Tetbury. Prince Harry pulled out if the driveway behind me (black unbadged Audi A3 three door which I suspect may have been non-standard performance wise) and accelerated hard to catch up and get close to my rear bumper. So I gave it the beans assuming he wouldn't break the speed limit and would have protection following him. As I recall I was doing 90 as the 40 speed limit sign for the village approached and I had to back off hard still with the ginger Prince two car lengths behind me. This is of course before he went all woke and started worrying about mental health and polar bears.

I've also flown a fair number of celebs over the years. In the lovely category is Carol Vorderman, Bruce Dickinson and Richard May. In the vile category are Posh Spice (appalling facial skin), Rick Stein and the price twunt has to be Noel Edmonds who treats cabin crew like skivvies and does the whole refusing to make eye contact thing.

My wife encountered Richard Hammond in his silver 911 coming down our lane whilst she was on horseback with the kids on ponies. He pulled to one side and turned off the engine (may have been stop start to be fair) but then his wife is very horsey.

Tony Adams with his (then) young family at Cirencester Agricultural College open day. He parked next to me in some kind of American Dayvan, or it might have been a Japanese one of a similar style.

He lives in a village about a mile from the Ag Coll. When he moved in one of the locals knocked on his door and asked if he wanted to join the village wine society...

Jason Statham in an Aston Martin V12 Superleggera on the Abbey Road wearing a bakers boy hat looking ordinary but everybody knew it was him. Driving very slowly.

Taking a mate for a spin in a Alfa GTV in 1999/2000 when a Honda S2000 comes flying past. I gave chase but was promptly out driven at each roundabout, we were in Milton Keynes.

We both pull in to a petrol station, the other driver was Vicki Butler-Henderson. She smiled but she could have been laughing at my inability to keep up.
Ohhhh shes cute

Used to regularly see Chris Goffey of Top Gear fame around in his Citroen DS. I used to live about 5 mins from him on the outskirts of Oxford in the 90s.

More recently, would often see Will Carling driving his Range Rover. Presumably lived nearby as he’d often be in the local supermarket. Also had the surprise of looking up from the 5 year old car mag I was reading in the GP’s waiting room once to see him sitting opposite.

Walking through London, near Piccadilly Circus saw “Doctor” Fox (at that time Capital Radio presenter) getting off a really cool custom chopper motorbike.

And Bobby Rahal in his company Jaguar on the M1 when he used to run Jaguar F1 (Red Bull predecessor).

Saw John De lorean in a De Lorean, in Lincoln about 40+ years ago.
Why he was in Lincoln I know not.
Plus Mr Monteverdi checking the tyre pressures of his Monteverdi outside Hexagon in Highgate.

David Coulthard, think it was a Renault 19 Charade 16v in about 1993
Ulrikaka Johnson in a Range Rover but then she lives about 10 mins from me and one of her daughters is in same year as mine.
Tim Henman, various Mercs. Again lives in the next village.
Kylie being driven in a blacked out Range Rover. She used to keep her ponies where my other daughter has hers
Plato in his Porsche
Tim Harvey also in a Porsche
Matt Neal in a pick up of some sort, think it was a Ford Ranger?
