Famous people and the cars you have seen them in?

Just stumbled on this thread. The nearest I get to seeing anyone famous in their car is, a good 10-15 years ago, seeing a purple Lamborghini Diablo coming the other way whilst I was cycling just south of Colchester. In hindsight presumably JK’s although I didn’t clock who was driving at the time…
Yeah his mum lives/lived out that way. A few doors down from one of The New Seekers. We used to live round the corner from Ron Dennis. I remember in the early 90s (before the F1 was in full scale production) walking past his house and seeing him and a couple of other gents outside with an F1 and an F40 parked up. I recognised the F40 as that belonging to Nic Mason.
We had a quick chat with him and were told they'd be doing some shakedown testing with the F40 and that the F1 "blew it into the weeds" (or words to that effect). He seemed surprised when I mentioned it being Nic's car, as if his number plate wasn't quite common knowledge.

John Peel, the disc jockey, once overtook me in an Alfa 147 GTA.
At the time I thought, (as he had been following me for a few minutes) "that chap looks like John Peel, but I doubt he would drive an Alfa" but when he died it was mentioned he was an Alfa fan, and there's plenty of references to him owning a 147 => https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&a...
Also, on his Room 101 appearance he said he drove the long way home through Cambridgeshire to Suffolk to avoid the drivers of Essex, and the overtake was on the A505 on the Herts/Cambs borders.
So I am sure it was JP.

I once passed a Roller on the M40 with the number plate MAG IC. Had a look in as I passed and it was Paul Daniels. He just gurned at me. Miserable little fker.
I saw him in Tunbridge Wells in a green Rolls-Royce with of course that number plate - When I saw him the cliché from Carol Aherne (AKA Mrs Merton) when interviewing his wife Debbie Mcgee popped into my head ...we all know it.....but for the benefit of those who might not !"So what first attracted you to the millionaire Paul Daniels"

Robert Plant used to frequent our local pub (The Lion in Clifton-on-Teme) when I was in my teens and he always arrived in a huge white Merc saloon with a horrible 'Zender' like body kit and big (for the time) wheels.
His dog used to jump around inside and set the alarm off.
Robert also used to openly flirt with the young waitresses in front of his missus. Legend.
Found out years later, due to meeting in said pub, he and my hard drinking farmer grandad were also firm friends.
12 months late, but wondering at what time that would have been? A family member used to be the Landlord of The Lion, and Robert used to have a petrol account at my dad's garage so was a regular sight. As was John Bonham, who turned up in Jensen Interceptors, a 7 litre Cobra, and a Ford 'Hotrod' that, when my dad enquired as to the performance, Bonham pootled off the forecourt and proceeded to do a 100-yard burnout down the road in His dog used to jump around inside and set the alarm off.

Saw Chris Eubank in a convertible red Rolls Royce in Brighton in the mid 1990's
I can't recall if he was wearing a monocle but it was dark and cold and wondered why it was necessary to have the top down - it was almost as if he was trying to draw attention to himself - somebody (not me) shouted "you stupid wk3r ! " it didn't seem to phase him, but if it was true, why should it

I also saw the Chuckle Brothers in a transit van in Swansea. They didn't smile, however, which is a bit of a sauce given their 'professional' title.

A friend of mine had his dog run over by Chris Akabusi driving an X5 in Leighton Buzzard........Awooga!
Top Letterbocksing from 2012. Late 80's a grey 2 door E30 BMW u-turned in front of me on the Albert Bridge Road in London. I was just about to wind the window down & give the driver a mouthfull when she gave me a really sweet smile & little "sorreee" wave & shrug. It was Lisa Goddard.
Probably late 90's I pulled over to let a black S class coupe past on the southern M25. Thumbs up & grin from JK.
Waiting at some traffic lights in Battersea (awkward little junction at the Duke Of Battersea) & one of the cars crawling past was Derek Bell in his 924GT.
Lived in Chipping Norton for a while so used to regularly see cars with press packs on the passenger seats parked in the marketplace near Clarkson's favourite tobacconist, but only saw him actually driving once: a grey A (S?)8.
