Nick Mason in his Ferrari 250 GTO, twice. Once outside the Gherkin in London, he was at a dinner. Second time at Goodwood, where I got to shake his hand and say hi.
Did he post on PH later offering you a hand-shaking tutorial?
Thankfully not, a passing moment and brief handshake as he was getting ready to go up the hill.
No custard or dry cleaners were involved in the making of my story… smile
I saw Nick Mason's F40 in Bridgnorth. F40 NPG.

Not sure whether he was driving though.

I once passed a Roller on the M40 with the number plate MAG IC. Had a look in as I passed and it was Paul Daniels. He just gurned at me. Miserable little fker.
So you gawped at a sleb's car and took offence because he reacted ? What did you want him to do ?
Years ago Paul Daniels driving a Rolls with that plate cut me up in Bracknell. Magic does not help you turn right from the left hand lane of a roundabout!

I did the Prescott drivers school in the same session as Nicks wife. Had lunch with them both but annoyingly can’t remember what card they were driving, except that it was a Ferrari.

I let Kate Middleton out of a side street the other week in an Audi Q8 or something. At first I saw this car trying to barge out and I thought 'no chance sunshine', then I saw it was a hot milf, then I thought 'oh it's Kate Middleton', and she gave me a nice smile and a wave so what could I do smile

A few years ago I was filling up in the Esso station in Princes Risborough when an absolutely jaw dropping car pulled in - turns out it was a Maserati. Jay Kay jumped out and stuck a few litres in - I spoke to him at the till and he couldn't have been nicer - showed me all around the car and let me sit in it. I was amused by a piece of A4 paper on the passenger seat with a hand drawn picture of the dash with arrows indicating what all the buttons and lights were for.

He gunned it off the forecourt and it sounded amazing.

It was a very rare (just looked it up, 1 of 6) Frua bodied 1955 Maserati A6G/54 with a 6cyl 2.0. It sold at auction for something like $1.5m a few years later.

Holy moly, that’s stunning. It does irk me somewhat that I’m not Jay Kay I must admit.

David Haye in his Rolls parking outside cyber Riverside Park Plaza last Tuesday. Plate D HAYE. I assume it’s D11 AYE.
I pass there most Sundays and his car is always parked out the front. There's also a nasty R231 gen Merc SL usually parked next to it with the most ridiculously wide wheels and cartoon tyres on it, with a butchered number reading "CASIOUS" or similar

I've only just found this thread so read it from the beginning. This latest revival throws up a lot of repeat posts from members as it's so old. Good read though.

I saw JK and Denise Van Outen at a petrol station in the early hours of the morning - I had just come off the channel crossing train (from the continent). They were in a Lambo - cannot remember the colour, this was around 1997 from memory. JK was on the forecourt - Denise was inside whilst I was paying.

Also saw Jimmy Greaves on a Beaconsfield roundabout.

Jeremy Clarkson over took me on the slip road in an Aston Martin - onto the M40 at High Wycombe.

Also saw Tara Palmer-Tomkinson on the M25 (anti-clockwise). She flashed me in her silver Merc to move out of the way. LOL. Thing is, I was already going plenty fast enough as it was... she was obviously in a hell of a hurry!
