What discounts do you get for working with Car manufacturers?

Manufacturers get round the company car tax rules by lending the employee the money to buy the car at 0% interest, then buying back the car at the end of the term at the original purchase price. So the only taxable benefit for the employee is the free loan.
Some do, but not all - it's also a tax loophole, and apparently HMRC are looking at closing itv8will said:
My old boss's brother in law was/is very high up at Ford, he used to get a fully specced Jag or Rangerover every 6 months or so (obviously before the sell off) My old boss buys nothing but Ford and gets something silly like 30 or 40% off
No Range Rovers have ever been offered to Ford Management IIRC.Discount used to be in the region of 20% on new vehicles, now it is not so generous. (£750 off a Fiesta IIRC)
Best deal is to buy your current management lease, fully spec'd S-Max Titanium diesel for £11,500, six months old, one owner, you.

My friend's father-in-law works for Nissan so my friend and his GF get a Nissan Note for £90 a month. Before that they had a Micra CC which I think cost £65 a month and I know the Qashqai is a bit more than the Note. Not bad prices for getting to and from work, even if the cars are a bit boring.
Are you sure about those prices? If so he's getting a much better deal than the employees at the sunderland plant. Note's are about £130 per month all in (insurance and tax), juke's about £160 and qashqai's start at about £180. A few years back (when the CC was available) you could get a second car for about £90 if you were paying full price for one already.
