Daihatsu HiJet mini van purely for the comedy element.
I worked at a Diahatsu dealer, I used to love our 1300 van. You knew its limits in an hour, and it demanded you drive to them.

Surely they couldn't pass a crash test now ?

We have an old E36 BMW Touring which is the family bus, my wife and two small children have no respect what-so-ever for cars so I sold her Mercedes CLK and replaced with the old BM, as a rusult i dont let them anywhere near my Jag, which as such i dont really need as i almost have to make time to use her, so i am selling (but only to buy an older Jag-which the family will still not be allowed near).
Now bearing in mind that i struggle to find time for the Jag, i have just bought myself an old BMW E30 'Motorsport Edition' Convertible.

I've toyed with the idea of selling the Impreza a few times, even had it up for sale at one point. Glad it didnt sell. Don't need it but.........

Just curious. Having two cars for us comes in handy sometimes but often only one car is in use at any one time. Just wondered how many of you could probably lose one? Though we don't really need two, being a 'man' I like to have my own car!! biglaugh
One of mine doesn't start and is missing a front end.

The only reason I still have it is the outstanding finance exceeds it's value! frown

I'd have two cars though, one fun, one practical.

Always handy to have a spare if one breaks or gets stuck in the snow, or just goes in for a service.

I don't even need the one car I have, but I'll be damned if I give up having the ability to just go for a drive for the hell of it driving

Two cars here and a motorbike.
I only work 5 miles away and with the amount of traveling I do I'm considering ditching one (not the bike).

Mind you, when its a tad chilly its nice to have the choice.

335d Touring not getting used all that much but when it IS needed, it's brilliant and a damn site easier to park than the other "car" our VW California.

The latter is very handy though - loads of room, can make coffee in it and watch DVDs...

Need? What is this need of which you speak?

It's all about the want.
Indeed. I have 4 cars, of which none have moved for 3 days, I could easily dispense of 3 of them if need were to become the relevant verb.

I have 2 cars (Ford Kuga as the family vehicle, TVR Cerbera for rarely used fun) and a motorbike (Repsol fireblade) that i use daily. Yes, i could sell the TVR as i dont use it much but if if i sold it, it wouldnt be too long before i would start looking to replace it (christ knows what with, but i know it would cost a fair bit) therefore we are considering adding a BMW 1 series convertible. Then, we would have something for all occasions. Oh and im considering swapping the blade for either a BMW 1000rr or a Ducati Panigalle shortly. Decisions, decisions. Hahaha....

I have a Land Rover which I use for winter and a ZX12 for summer....and a Monaro which I hardly use. Spent way to much making it go faster (it has 800hp) so can never sell it. I'll probably be buried in it.

I've one car. Don't really need it, but it helps our life in a rural area with no shops. Could easily move to an urban location.

It's mostly about wanting a car and wanting to live in a quiet village. If I had more room on the drive, I'd fill it with cars.
