Camaro is a bit ugly, plus I can get a nice condition Oldsmobile 442 for around that price and they are WAY nicer.

That's quite an accusation, coming from you!

It's only an accusation if the sentence started 'You are...'

I dont know, I just want a cool car that is different and not like every other car around. Just want something unique that I can work on and say that is mine, without it being some cheap looking ricer wagon.

Headturner for girls/guys/kids/adults/grandparents. I dont care, I just want a care that stands out and looks sexy smile
Cool, unique, different, not ricer wagon = Supra, Subaru, BMW 325/330

Well what about a 197/200 Clio? You can just about pick up a nice 200 for the very top of your budget or save a couple of grand and get a really nice 197 F1/cup.

How does LPG triple the MPG on the Range Rover ?

Would be thinking some kind of classic, that's for sure, I just got (at the risk of Sounding like Liquid Knight) a 944 cabriolet, being a cab and bright red it seems to turn more heads than anticipated, doesn't sound that great compared to V8's though

How about a Custard Yellow T5 estate with a remap and SS exhaust, I had a silver one at 27, great car, a yellow T5R looks great and strange for a young lad to own.

I know you have three years NCD but surely its still an issue getting insured ?

But you want us to pick it for you? Since you've not got much imagination and you want to stand out in other people's minds I suggest you strap a giant fake cock to the top of your range rover and drive about in that.

I say roughly 35-40 because when i used petrol only, it costs my about 200 quid a month. With LPG (autogas) it was around 60 quid or so a month.

lpg is 70p a litre and it is much better.

I did consider and was looking hard at the old 1995-1998 black porsche cabriolets 911. They are great, but thought insurance maybe an issue and if that wasnt then the price of when it inevitably goes wrong would be.

How cool are you?

If you're not cool: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/3478329.htm

If you're cool: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/2333232.htm

Not sure what insurance would be like for the former, but the latter could work on a classic policy.

I made the edit straight away before I had seen your reply. Sorry about that, didn't mean to make you look stupid!

Insurance isn't the issue you would perhaps think there is a lad on here about your age with a 911 (996) turbo and it isn't that bad, quite reasonable actually, being old (41) mine was £262 with 3 points and a small reversing indescretion. 911's are another ball park in terms of expense versus the humble four cylinders, exhaust on a 993 is £1700, 944 about £300 or less, Tyres are £80 ish a corner, rears on a 993 C2s are £200 plus.

Astra VXR always have looked good in my opinion.

I can't say the Supra was ever a head turner when I was 20 but I did get called a nonce a lot.

I'm 25 now, I guess the Monaro gets the most attention out of any car I have had. My old 330ci didnt get any attention whatsoever.

I never bought these for attention I'll quickly add. Just observations.
