You lost me at "tinted windows" and again at "the Camaro is ugly"

What about an Elise? The series 2 cars look reasonably exotic and cost pennies to run. There are plenty of cosmetic & performance mods available for them too.

Not the best sounding cars in the world but they can be improved with the right exhaust system.

Better?

Even if you only want it for posing, still terrible MPG. That's all i was saying.
You did know someone suggested a Camaro 5.0L V8 on page one, right?

An Audi is a perfect blank canvass for a 20 year old who wants to turn heads. I wouldn't myself, but i'm not going to judge others 'McDonalds carpark' posing exploits hehe
But at least it makes up for it's poor MPG by being quick.
Again though, performance and MPG are not an issue for the OP so irrelevant here.

Twit!
Actually i've got an owl joke, but I can't use it until 2/8/20
hehe

Did you know that owls don't go "towit towo"

Apparantly the female? owl goes "towit" and the male? owl will respond with "towo" so you are in fact hearing 2 owls. It could of course be the other way round.

Should have put this in the useless facts thread.

As you were.

For < £10K? Be lucky to get a decent series 1 in budget.

It must be true then. I heard it on Radio 2 and thought it was a wind up.

I can't think of any headturning cars at the moment. Maybe the new Subaru/Toyota that comes out, but other than that they're all just standard stuff. A Porsche Boxster could be headturning if it has the sport kit on and in the a bright colour - maybe speed yellow or guards red.

sadly the 90s cars of celicas, MR2s, and whatever else used to grab attention don't seem to have stayed on in manufacturers models. if you want something cheap then this could be up your street:

Jeez, i was just pointing out that they are crap on fuel. I never said he couldn't buy one, or that going fast while using next-to-no fuel was the only reason for ever buying any car ever.

Although, since you mention it, i don't recall seeing the OP saying fuel wasn't a concern, his last car was LPG'd.

Anyway, pointless, it was just a passing comment about a car i have some experience with.
Just winding you up Doogz. TBH the OP is so vague in what he wants that pretty much any information could be useful.

okay, thanks to those who helped anyway. I'll keep on searching the classifields and ebay by myself.. :/
How cool are you?

If you're not cool: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/3478329.htm

If you're cool: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/2333232.htm

Not sure what insurance would be like for the former, but the latter could work on a classic policy.
2nd one is utterly stunning, and strangely my exact Forza car from last night, these have really grown on me, doesn't seem expensive in the times of the 26k Mk3 Escort.
20,000 mile E24 M6 for 9 grand? pull the other one

Dunno really, I've lost touch with prices. This seems alright:

Admittedly, there's a 4 year hole in the service history but they're hardly complex machines, it wouldn't bother me to the same degree as it would with some other cars.

This is the answer

Audi A4 Cabriolet - V6 engine for noise, good looks for headturning, cheap enough to buy and run, will make girls want to have sex with you.

HTH.
Utterly appalling MPG for such a slow car! Depends why you want one i suppose.
For the massive rimz, innit?

@ OP piston heads isn't the best place to ask this question as its full of fat bald middle aged men

for example you will get replies like this

RobCrezz said:
Haha the 3 series is one of the biggest selling cars, you will look exactly like everyone else.
But in reality you wont look like every other middle aged fat bald miserable 3 series driver. how many 20 year old do you see in a 3 series? not many a 3 series at 20 is cool a 3 series when your middle aged is not so cool.

most of the people on here would feel uncomfortable and insecure in anything flashy since they have become miserable old gits and thus hate any youngsters that they see being what they wish they could be.

A 3-series, is not a head turning car.

He might not look like a bald middle age man driving a 3-series, but that's irrelevant, since no-one will be turning their heads to look, as he'd be in a 3-series, scourge of the motorways laugh
I'm with Doogz. Nobody will look. Nobody tumbleweed

Facelift 330i/d M-sport. £2-5K, high mileage, not bad on insurance. Sounds good in 330i form, looks like any other car but has a BMW badge, goes fast.

Most women will not know the difference between this and a £30K car. The interior is good, all the toys.
