Did you know that owls don't go "towit towo"

Apparantly the female? owl goes "towit" and the male? owl will respond with "towo" so you are in fact hearing 2 owls. It could of course be the other way round.

Should have put this in the useless facts thread.

As you were.
But you won't find them giving out mating calls when it's raining ...

... apparently it's too wet to woo!

The problem is that undoubtedly some of the recommendations are nice looking cars but what will happen is people will see <nice looking car>, think "Nice looking car." but not turn their heads further. So, when you see someone glance and think "Nice looking car." you need to shout out to them "HEY! I'M ONLY TWENTY!". Only then will they turn their heads as you drive by.

Alfa Brera is a headturner for sure. They are so nice, even the rear end after it overtakes you looks good.

Came here to say this. Got quite a few comments from randoms in car parks admiring it. Never really know how to respond...

Headturner for girls/guys/kids/adults/grandparents. I dont care, I just want a car that stands out and looks sexy smile
My sister has one of these (in this colour) that she'll be wanting to sell shortly:

5-year old girls love it. It'll definitely turn heads, it's within your budget and it's cheap to insure even for a 20 year old.

What's not to like? smile

Car (and sister) is in Leeds. Contact me via my profile if you want me to put you in touch.

Dunno really, I've lost touch with prices. This seems alright:

Admittedly, there's a 4 year hole in the service history but they're hardly complex machines, it wouldn't bother me to the same degree as it would with some other cars.
I was going to put mine up for sale shortly, ruby red S2, with FSH, around £10k. Good ones can be had if you search smile

Actually, going on what Sam said above, getting something slightly hairdressery is more likely to get female interest. The only car that's got more female heads turning than my old TVR is my Golf Cabrio. I've had two Skylines, an MR2 Turbo and a CLK 55 AMG amongst others (for comparison purposes).

It's possible they just wanted a BFF gay friend shopping pal or a cheap hair do.

Depends what type of heads you are trying to turn, assuming its females again it depends what kind of females? chavy ones that will fk on the 1st date? maby a saxo? materlistic ones that will shag you if you have money? maby bmw? middle aged ones with kids and stretched marks? pretty much any car will do.

They car might get the attention but if your a ugly fker don't expect it to go any further laugh

A Saxo, you say? Does it have to be a VTS or will a 1.1 litre suffice?

1.1 will suffice if if has a big bore exhaust and some sort of alloys.

My experience of (fairly briefly) owning a TVR was that it was more likely to attract scorn and derision from any but the shallowest members of the opposite sex. The assumption being that if you felt the need to drive such a blatant penis substitute, you were compensating for dire shortcomings elsewhere.

By contrast (and probably based on identical logic), the st brown Mini City E I had for a while was just an unbelieveably efficient fanny-magnet. I honestly lost count of the number of times I got 'Oh, wow, what a cute car' from some unfeasibly attractive girl as I unfolded myself from it.

On this basis, trust me, a lipstick pink Micra CC is the car to have: they'll either assume that you are gay (in which case unthreatening and safe to engage in conversation) or so confident in your masculinity that you must be hung like a horse. Either way, easy win.

Trust me... it's the only answer. yes
