Current Panda-any run out deals yet? (seeing as new one due)
Discussion
Always worth checking out http://www.fiatsupasaver.com/SpecialOffers.aspx for good deals on Pandas.
I'm not in any way related to them, but when I considered buying a panda a few years ago they were the cheapest I managed to find.

Depends how much of the old stock is knocking about but don't forget...
Now its faced with a successor that is prettier.
In a market soon to be joined by the Up!
1. No. The new car is a busy mess. Now its faced with a successor that is prettier.

2. The Up is significantly more expensive, not really a direct competitor in term of price. To the current car anyway.

I think the best time to buy these was a couple of years ago when they could be had for £5000 - £5500 for the old 1.1 version if memory serves correctly. Can't see them getting quite that cheap again even if there is a new model due out.
From my link above:Fiat Panda 1.1 Active eco 60 REG white
List £7,960.00
Discount £2665.00
OTR £5,395.00
So they are still that cheap - if you don't mind taking the spec an colour on offer. Bloody good price for a brand new car in my opinion.

With delivery mileage. So pre regged and then parked up. Probably for not much longer than a lot of other stuff gets parked up for before it gets registered.
Wouldn't put me off if it was saving me a few grand...
Surely you're only saving £600? and losing half of the warranty?Wouldn't put me off if it was saving me a few grand...

I'll admit, I've not looked into the price of a brand spanker. I understood they were a couple of grand more, but if deals are available, then maybe it's not such a good price.Either way, you *can* buy what is in effect a brand new Panda for less than £5.5k it would seem.

That's a point. 18months old- do they have an issue shifting base model/1.1 Pandas then? I can see that the masses craves a/c etc but to me its a button I never use.
Arnold Clark pretty much always have droves of them pre-registered so they must manage to sell them. Might be able to get some money off a '61' pre-reg in March. You could buy the 1.2 for only a couple of hundred more last year.... I actually thought the 1.1 was discontinued in favour of the 1.2, so newer 1.1s might be really quite old.
